Microsoft Fluent

Introducing a new design system for the next wave of creativity across Windows devices, Fluent Design delivers intuitive, harmonious, responsive and inclusive cross-device experiences and interactions.

Fluent builds on top the modern, clean design Metro introduced, and revamps some of  Aero's characteristics, like translucency and depth, to create a system that can belong on devices with or without a screen, marking a shift towards virtual and augmented reality.

As a designer on the Windows Envisioning team in 2017, I helped define the new design system's principles, and how these real world components might be reinterpreted for user interfaces.

Fluent was unveiled during Build 2017, showcasing of the upcoming changes in Windows 10 OS, apps, and devices. Along with a brilliant group of visual, UI, and motion designers, I produced and curated some of the content for the conference's sizzle reel.
